SilentRoamer
First Law is on my reading list. I have Read Assassins Apprentice and also GotM: Found Assassins apprentice to be good if a little bit slow (though I dont mind that for a slow burn) and definetely intend to finish that trilogy along with Hobbs other stuff.Found GotM to be a bit of a mess - lots of power levelz just doubled OMG type of writing - although a lot of my freinds reccomend I keep going so it is still on my extended reading list. Yeah I think DR2 is right, EB's post is pretty polite bearing in mind there are a load of similar type threads, but in fairness I think you have to be REALLY specific not to trad on old ground. The thread reminded need me how mind boggling awesome those books are. Also for the record I love all three series mentioned in the OP, but I agree with whoever said you need to take breaks during malazan, those things are long.
