CruzaderJC
Would you be interested if GRRM wrote a spinoff story based in Yi Ti and/or Leng? Maybe with medieval China/Japan themes like ninjas and samurai?
Fat Mac
Well I'll pass on the use of ninja and samurai, but would be interested to see some stories out of Yi Ti. Not a full series, but maybe short stories or a novella. Or perhaps a story through Corlys Velaryon or Lomas Longstrider's perspective.
TerrorVoid
I don't think there will be something like this. Ashay, Yi TI and so on are so interesting because they are so mysterious.

MaybeINeverSawACamel
Let's finish ASOIAF before branching out. But I'd like a book of short stories of people from several different parts of the world, YiTi, Southryos, etc. reacting to the Long Night or battle for the Dawn. TheSovereignGrave
Nah, I like the mystery of the Far Eastern parts of the world.
Queen Alienor
Well, after he finished ASOIAF, why not? He's a good writer, and the World Book offers so many possible places for a story to take place... it woudl surely be interesting.
the trees have eyes
By the time he's finished ASOIAF and the prequel novellas he's writing I imagine he'll say "thank god" and turn his mind to a completely different subject.
Knight Of Winter
Sure, I'd love to read it. I like various Essosi cultures Martin has only hinted at/briefly explored, and I'd certainly welcome a story set in one - be it Free Cities, Asshai, Yi Ti, Leng, Ibben, Patrimony of Harkoon, Sothyros etc. Although GRRM doesn't need to literally copy everything from our world (e.g. ninjas and samurais) into his own fiction. Falcon2908
Would like to see Yi Ti during the Great Empire of Dawn and during the reign of the Bloodstone emperor
Protagoras
If GRRM are able to finish the series, I am willing to buy whatever books in Westeros he is writing. I would very much prefer if he wrote stand-alones from that point though and not series (for obvious reasons).
