I realise that. Some kind of description or story relating to them would be nice though. Not that it's that important.

As it is they are regularly referenced but never really explained. Never mind though.

I want to know the actual plot of the Florian and Jonquil story. It gets referenced all the time but its actual plot is shrouded in greater secrecy than the identity of all the secret Targaryens.

Grumkins and snarks are the terms used by (in general) Southrons who mock the tales of Giants and Direwolves and such like beyond the wall. In my view it could be anything from a mammoth to the Others. Think of it as "thigs that go bump in the night" in RL
