Haven’t heard from him in a few weeks, but I recall him saying that he needs later drafts because of work and being on the West Coast. I’ll shoot him an email because I know he still wants to play. I can’t believe HP spent 30% of his salary on Lamar Miller and Allen Robinson, the latter who did nothing last year and is on the short list to be cut before the draft. #LastYearOfRebuilding

I'm in. So far I only have one draft scheduled for the 29th, but I will be in 5-6 leagues this year so I'll know more in a week or two. @grozeng, you should @ the other players so that they know you're reaching out to them.

Now I'm left wondering what LV's bird side piece would be.... To be fair, women can be a handful at the beginning of the dating process too. Some people play games, and it’s not bound to any specific gender or orientation.

Congrats on the championship, @Bronn Stone. I was worried I'd drop a ton of spots because I got to my computer about two minutes after kickoff (I did call the Eagles though). Anyways, two seasons in and two second place finishes. Not terrible I guess. And I was able to just edge out @dbunting. It's the small victories that matter!

Bronn, There are 84 points remaining, and you need 54 points to guarantee a championship. I think it's unlikely that anyone beats you unless this week goes off the rails and someone picks every upset.

I doubt anyone can catch you unless you forget to make your picks. Now it's pretty much a race for second place for everyone else.

That’s not shocking to hear, though I thought this league was only a few years old. And for what it’s worth, I finished second last year with the best record.

My inability to make up ground on you has been a most frustrating affair. I've had a string of great weeks, and every time I check your weekly score it's basically the same as mine.

Well that strategy got you and me both last night, a long with most players in the league.

It was probably the hardest week to pick since early on in the season. If you can avoid any major stumbles, you'll probably be this year's champion. There are a handful of us bunched up behind you, but I think the gap is probably too larger to overcome unless somebody get's lucky gambling on a few upsets.

Gotta hope that .36 margin of victory holds up. Also, I think it’s pretty funny that I’m third in scoring considering I don’t think much of my team and I lost my best player a few weeks ago plus I lost my most expensive player at the very beginning of the season. Unfortunately though, I’m also first in points against….

I actually think rebuilding a team can be fun. It’s just that I got dealt a really bad hand. Another idea in addition to the two free drops is allowing a new owner to reassign any existing contracts to just one year so that they can cut people without it affecting future seasons.

Getting into striking distance

I like the idea of being able to drop two guys for free one time. My biggest grievance is that I had nearly 70% of my cap space spent to start the year while needing to fill out half my roster. That kind of made it impossible to compete so I had to accept that I’m playing for next year.

I saw Baltimore play the previous week and they were god awful. I figured the Fins, even with Matt Moore could get them. I mean, historically he's always been good for 2 starts before he implodes. so much for that.

I’m a big fan of Honest Trailers, but haven’t watched one in a month or so. I was shocked yesterday when I went to catch up on what I’ve missed to learn that Andy Signore had been fired and that it turns out he’s a truly disgusting person.

Oh the joys of finally having a good week, going 12-3, and only netting myself 87 points.
