GoT Actors in Other Stuff - Part 2

I find it interesting that Thomas Sangster's character in Doctor Who, like Jojen, had the gift of foretelling.

    [Book Spoilers] EP 207 Discussion

I didn't see this mentioned but there was a lot to read through so here's my question: does anybody think that the guy lying face down with Quaithe was Euron? She says he's headed to Valyria. I'm not sure about my timeline, but given what's about to go down at the HOTU, Euron will be capturing some of those warlocks soon.

How would you rate episode 204?

Tywin controlled Harrenhal in ACOK when Arya and co. first arrived iirc. Roose took the castle later in the book.

How would you rate episode 201?

Give it an 8. My major issue was the omission of Patchface, who would work really well on the show. Just watched episode 2 yesterday, and it's damn near perfect.

Also I see a previous poster mentioned Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun, which in my mind is one of the great works of 20th century literature in any genre. GRRM is a fan, and in the Homages and References thread, I've listed some references I think are obvious. The Dune series is probably the closest analogue to ASOIAF in sci-fi. Dan Simmons' Hyperion books are also among the best things I've ever read.

Also, Master Palaemon is supposed to be the oldest of the torturers. And the area of Nessus where all the aforementioned towers are is known as the Citadel. Samwell Tarly goes to Oldtown to study to be a maester at the Citadel:

I don't think anybody has mentioned this yet, but in Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun (which GRRM is a huge fan of), the main character, Severian joins the Torturers' Guild, whose members wear black ( the cloak being the key article) mentioned and are not allowed to marry. Severian's main mentor is Master Palaemon, whose may not have eyes and wears lenses of some kind so that he can see (seems too similar to Maester Aemon to be coincidence). At any rate, without them, he's either blind or nearly blind. The torturers live in the Matachin Tower, which is near the Bear Tower (is Mormont, the Old Bear, an homage?). The city where these towers are is called Nessus and it's surrounded by an ancient construct called the Wall which appears to be thousands of feet high. The torturers' guild sends Severian north of the Wall early in the story. There are other similar details too, including a mysterious character named Hethor ( Hodor?). Lastly this might be really pushing it but Severian Torturer= ST = Samwell Tarly.

Elizabeth Haydon, Symphony of Ages. Has complex characters and is extremely graphic. Starts out like a bad romance novel but redeems itself quickly. Achmed the Snake is certainly one of the best characters in fantasy. Unfortunately unfinished to date.
