  1. Speaking of projects, with Hogwarts: Legacy coming out soon, I would give my arm for something similar set in Westeros. Or maybe Assassin's Creed: Braavos, or something like that.
  2. I believe he just thought it was a cool and subversive idea, but one that doesn't make sense once you put pen to paper. I think that's one of the main reasons he is struggling with the writing.
  3. Reddit is going nuts over the interview @Ran and Linda did with a Spanish Youtube channel. I might be wrong, but it seems most of it was speculation, and not actual spoilers?
  4. He is a Faceless Man, he has the ability. There is a great theory by In Deep Geek about this: Jaqen was hired by Littlefinger to kill Ned. Ned was supposed to be in Yoren's caravan to the Wall. So Jaqen needs to get on the caravan too, and the easiest way to do it is to be in the black cells, because that's where Yoren goes to get recruits. But Ned was executed before getting on the caravan, so Jaqen moved on to his next objective in Oldtown.
  5. Wasn't he already in the black cells when Yoren arrived?
  6. I can understand why Robert wouldn't see that, but Jon Arryn, Stannis, and the like? I guess Varys did a good job and didn't give tham reasons to be suspicious.
  7. But he is Master of Whisperers, which is basically Chief of Intelligence. That's dangerous by default.
  8. Why did Robert keep Varys as Master of Whisperers after taking the throne? Quite a dangerous figure to keep around.
  9. Since he's talking about inventing charaters, I guess they will be completely new ones that have never been mentioned before?
  10. I feel like the show is the 5-year gap version of the story, in many ways.
  11. Come to think of it, people almost never talk about Tyrion in the context of the 5- year gap. What would he have done for five years? Wandered around in Essos?
  12. Sure, but I assumed it could still get a bit colder even though it doesn't snow.
  13. Daeron was born in 153 AC, while Daemon was born in 170 AC.
  14. How big of a chance do you think Renly had of taking the throne if he hadn't been shadowbanned from the competition?
  15. I think it would be quite difficult to do, since the characters' ages are often mentioned in the books.
  16. Overall, I'm still against the five-year gap, because I don't like big time gaps in stories in general. I think the best thing would have been making the characters a bit older from the start.
  17. Probably, but that's not important here. Arianne has her own reasons for the Queenmaker plot. It's never mentioned that she got this idea from Oberyn. So the two of them came up with the exact same plot separately?
  18. Did Oberyn plan to crown Myrcella? Separately from Arianne?
  19. If he is unable to finish it, then I hope that he, at least, releases whatever he has already written.
  20. Why didn't Aegon IV's bastards take on the Targaryen name when he legitimised them?
