He may not have taken Storm's End, but I think he might end up yielding Dragonstone to another Dragon in the future. Especially if she arrives after Cersei has fucked with his family even more...

I want to point out that Arriane choosing to marry Aegon does not necessarily indicate she has not learned her lesson. Her fault was being careless before, not planning, not thinking through. If a Dornish alliance with Aegon seems particularly promising, then her sealing such an alliance by marriage is not necessarily her being reckless. She can fall for him as a "pretty boy" and still have learned her lesson. It's all about whether she thinks it through

Yeah I don't see this chapter as overly descriptive, especially when you consider that this is a region we've not really seen before (we briefly see Storm's End in Cat's POV, but never so far South as this). Also, is anyone able to compare the length of this chapter with those in the previous books? It feels a lot shorter than many of the chapters in ADWD for example,

Intimate knowledge of the drainage systems. Say, by someone who was given charge of that as a youth...

A few people are reporting that links to some of the older threads are no longer working and returning "404 error" messages. Is this simply because those threads are now lost, or a recent issue?

I enjoyed this chapter, it seemed to cover a lot more ground at a quicker pace than some of the DwD chapters did. I would need to go back over it when I have more time to pick out specific quotes, but as I was reading I felt like there were a lot of hints/nods towards Aegon not being a legitimate Targaryen. I'll admit I was about 50/50 until now, but this pushed me more toward fAegon.

Can I just ask whether the spoiler tags in the OP still open correctly and display all the content for people? I'm having problems with them, and I'm not sure if it's just my device/internet (which are temperamental at best) or an issue on the site.

^Hmm,Risto makes a good point, as there also don't seem to be any mod functions available for the season 6 sub forum either.

Sansa actually dances with See Byron and Ser Morgarth, so they are still around -
Little Questions That Don't Fit Anywhere Else Part 3
HexMachina replied to HexMachina's topic in General (GoT)
Could be like the book and Drogon is ordinarily living far away from Meereen ("Dragonstone" in the books, out in the Dothraki Sea). He also flies over quite a large area. What draws him back to the Pit is his connection to Dany (I know some say it's the blood and screams, but...over all those miles? Nah, it's something much deeper and magical). They changed the geography of the show slightly I think so I'm not sure how close Drogon's "lair" is to Valyria -

Yeah, this doesn't even have any chickens that aren't chickens in it. Very disappointing -

Lunus? Lacht? Nacht? Teythes? Clearly we've a genius in our midst, we are just too dim to realise it -

I actually didn't think PB's assessment was all that blunt even. Was pretty tame and, as you say, spot on the money Well people usually start learning to write age 4-5, so I suspect...a couple of years maybe? -

I can foresee many problems for you if you seriously intend to become an author and can't take criticism. -
Icons are back now. Sorry, I suspect this actually was a problem at this end

The notifications and message icons in the top right-hand corner have disappeared, although I can still see whether I have a message or notification so it's not much of a problem, but I thought I should mention it. Hmmm, with the caveat this could be a problem with my device, which is being rather unresponsive lately

I can't seem to save edits to my posts properly. I am able to add things in but hitting "save reply" doesn't do anything
