  1. I don't think so. Robert wanted to be done with whole affair. He could have cared less that Joff threatened a girl (she wasn't really unarmed) She had her stick at first & then Joff's sword for a minute, as well as Nymeria. I think the point is that Sansa saying what happened didn't make that much of a difference in the situation. It would likely have had the same outcome.
  2. But that is what happened. That's precisely what happened & that is most likely exactly how Cersei is going to look at it. Yes, Joff is a twat & deserved it but the King & Queen are not going to see it like that.
  3. Yeah, exactly. While, we the readers, may feel as if Joff deserved it, he is the crown prince. His mother isn't going to see things this way. All Sansa would have accomplished by telling the truth is making Joff & Cersei mad at her as well.
  4. Indeed, but his wolf was killed. You said she was the only one to have her wolf killed. Right, except it wasn't. Robb's wolf was killed as well. Fair enough.
  5. I don't recall her saying anything else about the Trident, where did she keep lying about it? Not saying she didn't, I just don't remember it.
  6. She certainly had options but I don't think we can ignore the rough spot she was in. She knew very well what telling the truth would mean. We cannot forget this is her betrothed, whose parents are King & Queen of the realm, not a mere dispute between two children. I agree with you about Arya but I cannot go as far as to call Sansa "dishonorable" or say she chose against her family. She is in the midst of her born family & her future family. Her future family being the ones who hold the authority here. She is also a child & while I wish she would have told the truth, she did not "lie" except by omission. She said she didn't know or didn't remember what happened. It's possible she really didn't. She also isn't the only Stark kid to have her wolf killed. Robb's Greywind was killed as well.
  7. Agreed & couple that with that fact that she was a child who had no idea what was going on &/or why her father was taking them away, she can hardly hold much blame. She disobeyed her father, yes, much like any other child of the time or any time has done. She didn't betray her family.
  8. Sansa is plenty smart, she was just innocent prior to her entanglement with the Lannisters. What evidence is there that she will take a child's life to benefit herself? She has never done anything of the sort. Besides, it's Petyr that is setting this whole thing in motion. If SR dies by anothers hand it will be Petyr that is to blame, not because Sansa isn't smart enough to plot a murder, but because she is good enough that kinslaying for the purpose of her own political gain would be appaling to her.
  9. I do think SR is being poisoned but I don't think it can be laid at Sansa's feet. She only administers medicine the maesters prepare for him.
  10. It does, I don't think it will happen but we will probably never get the end of the series so we can believe whatever we want haha
  11. So you think he will control them like Bran does Hodor?
  12. But coldhands can't lead the wights. I just don't get why Jon would be able to lead them.
  13. No, I mean how will he lead them? Why would they follow him?
  14. Why do you think Jon will lead wights to the Twins?
  15. There is a difference between warriors with blood on their hands & slaughtering wedding guests, no? Otherwise why would we even talk about the RW? If it were the equivalent to a battle there wouldn't be much to discuss.
  16. Tyrion - the guy everybody loves to hate, or hates to love. Yeah, he is definitely somewhere in between. I think the people that see him as evil think that his bad deeds wash out the good. The ones that white wash him think the good washes out the bad but neither is true. Tyrion is a very layered character. It's easy for us to say we would never, or we would do this or that, but until confronted with the situation we don't really know. Tyrion has proven to be bitter, dark, murderous, vengeful & also kind, forgiving, understanding, generous & loyal. I think he is an amazing character but certainly not good or bad.
