    US Politics - I'm not orange I'mpeach

And Barr was talking to Murdoch just yesterday. Coincidence?

They can't if they don't know about it. Women are way smarter about this than men. We've been dealing with this for millennia, and we'll always be one step ahead. We shouldn't have to resort to such methods in this day and age, but here we are.

And we women will go back to the old fashioned way, the way we did it for tens of thousands of years. And men will never know we were pregnant in the first place. What are they going to do, exterminate pennyroyal and chamomile? I'd love to see them try.

Make no mistake, this benefits Putin. EVERYTHING he does benefits Russia.

Not only that, but "reiterate" was spelled correctly. When I read that, I heard it with The Great and Powerful Oz's voice. Of course, he was a snake oil salesman, too.

He was probably exhausted because of the blockage. It caused a lack of oxygen to his tissues.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for!

I have a question for the lawyers. Do complaints like the whistleblower's have to be first hand to be REQUIRED reporting? I'm a mandated reporter and I'm required by law to report secondhand--if I see evidence of child abuse, for example, I don't actually have to see someone abuse a child. Are the legal requirements different for the intelligence community?
  10. Due process doesn't exist in mobland. And people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
  11. Oh of course! He never means anything he says!
  12. What's that got to do with it? He threatened a whistleblower and source with execution for crying out loud.
  13. For the lawyers, isn't that witness intimidation/tampering and obstruction of justice? He just can't shut his mouth. And we should throw those words right back in his face.
  14. Yeah, maybe a John Dean-like 4 month sentence or something.
  15. That was my impression, too. But anyone who has worked with whistleblowers anywhere knows you don't go to the subject of the complaint. It's supposed to be confidential. And he may well go to jail for it.
  16. I felt sorry for him early on, thinking that he was new to the job and not a bad guy, just in over his head. After that, though, I changed my mind.

DC jail would have been nice. Guys like him don't do well there.

Lewandowski should have been arrested on the spot and tossed into the nearest cell indefinitely.

    So who is The Harpy?

    The Green Grace.
  20. What about Russian kids born in Trump condos in Miami? My boyfriend was born in Germany because his father was stationed there and until now no one ever, ever questioned whether those children were US citizens.

Do you like Feast and Dance?

I didn't like Feast the first time around, but it definitely improved on re-read. When Dance came out, it was easy to see where and why it fit into the scheme of things. I did enjoy Dance. It's another one that improves with age. The northern arc, and Theon's, were very well done IMO. I really loved the introduction of Lord Manderly and Davos' chapters.

    Appropriate Punishment for Catelyn

Marry her off to Walder Frey. She did commit treason, but kinslaying is a serious crime, so Robb couldn't very well execute her. I know, I know, Lord Walder was on Wife #8, so that wasn't feasible, but Jason Mallister seemed interested in her. Robb could have married her off to him as well. All of this, of course, ignores the fact that the minute she showed up on her way back north, she should have been sent back to Winterfell. That was her place. She should NOT have been given a place in Robb's councils or any other advisory position. She was not a Lady Mormont with the necessary skills and strategic thinking that would have been valuable, and she had no business there. Just my two cents.
  23. Can we nail him to a cross and see if he comes back after three days?
