Makrell
Thats probably reason nr 2 Roslin married Edmure, she would have a larger chance of edmure regaining rivverrun and keeping her for wife than inheriting the twins ;)

RainGhost
Wow, that's a lot of Freys. I hope the BwB have plenty of rope and Manderly has plenty of pastry.
Makrell
Women doesn't inherits the Twins. Might inherits the twins, and a strong woman(or a weak woman flanked by strong cousins) could make the claim easily. The dance of the twins is upcoming, any man will fight for power. Game Of Thrones
Women doesn't inherits the Twins. They do. The Freys are an Andal House so they presumably have Andal inheritance rules, which means male-preference cognatic primogeniture.

That's what I thought too, but I recall that Black Walder was mentioned as being next after Edwyn, even though Edwyn has a daughter, who should come before Black Walder under Andal succession law. Buried Treasure
That is because Black Walder is not the kind of man to let a two-year old stop him getting what he wants. It would be no difference if Edwyn's child were a boy.

Septa Mordane
I'll be satisfied if all the men die. Let the Frey name pass into extinction.

Slender Aimry Hill
Conversation between the young Walders at Winterfell also implies no ruling Lady Freys of the Crossing are likely...
Septa Mordane
Even Olyvar?... Damn. Ok, we don't know his involvement in the Red Wedding (he may not have even known it was happening), so I would at least let him explain himself. I hope we find out what happened to Olyvar in prologue of TWOW.
WilliamWesterosiWallace
Shouldn't the women in the list appear after all the men with Frey in the name have ended? Serious question. Who comes first, a daughter or a grandson?

I hope we find out what happened to Olyvar in prologue of TWOW.Cat feels wary after she finds that Alesander, Perwyn and Olyvar are missing in the RW so these three probably didn't know. Olyvar may be the Rosby ward that didn't let Falyse Stokeworth in.
