The Lord is heard to be yelling in pain by the crowd. When his armor is removed it is shown that his elbow has been shattered and that he may never use the arm again. 2nd Event: Melee- Emric Perrey- 48 points- 1 Gold 3rd Event: Archery- Emric Perrey- 42 points- 1 Gold Maimed: Vesil Crow is readying for a shot, his bow is drawn taught and ready to fire. Before he can fire the wood of the bow creaks and shatters. A splinter buries itself through his palm and the tension on the string causes it to snap across his face leaving a gash. 4th Event: Hawking-Agnes Demetrius- 46 points- 2 Gold Maimed: Gryffon Ryland is nearly in the lead when his hawk becomes extremely agitated. In its flapping fury it gouges out one of Gryffons eyes and leaves talon marks down his face.Tournament of the Joust Main Event: Joust-Manwe Rohirrim-47 points- 6 Gold Maimed: Roland Deschain is knocked off his horse. His horse slows and when he gets back up and walks to the animal it bucks suddenly kicking back. The hooves dent Rolands helm and breaks his nose leaving a gash across his forehead. Melkor Rohirrim attempts to assist Roland Deschan as he is nearby when it happens. He tries to calm the animal but is knocked to the ground in the process. The horse runs forward and Melkors hand is crushed underneath on of its hooves. Theon Rohirrim is faring well in the tournament, after a successful joust against Tyrek Longwills his horse stumbles suddenly and tilts onto its side. Unable to free himself before the animal collapses his right leg is pinned to the ground and crushed. Its unlikely hell ever walk without a cane again. 2nd Event: Archery- Roland Deschain- 2 GoldLegacy Points:Nox Irradiata- House Shadestone: 52Leonardo- House Longwills: 34JTaylor- House Deschain: 35Bright Blue Eyes- House Vardmador: 36Primus- House Prime: 19Arya Stark Rules- House Demetrius: 23Captain Lemon- House Meyer: 25Lord Lyman- House Cayden: 26TheCrannogDweller- House Wyndseer: 37Reek Havoc- House Rylland: 42Et Cetera Mouse- House Perrey: 32Anomaly- House Kovertel: 21Dobromir- House of Crows: 33Slurms Mckenzie- House Slippyfingers: 20Eorl- House Rohirrim: 31Sword of the Morning Wood- House Dunedin: 25This turns will end Thursday October 23rd at 9:00 PM UTCThe Levy deadline for this turn is Wednesday October 22nd at 9:00 PM UTCI've changed the ages of people only on the family pages so far; the who is where page may take a bit longer or I might eliminate ages from that page. Leonardo
Also my castle at blackwater should be done good sir, and didn't we have enough participants for one event to have a grand tourney?
Lord Lyman
Also my castle at blackwater should be done good sir, and didn't we have enough participants for one event to have a grand tourney? I thought Grand Tourney's could only happen once every five years. Didn't we have one in the first turn?
Leonardo
I thought Grand Tourney's could only happen once every five years. Didn't we have one in the first turn?Per host, I thought that was kind of implied when it comes right after the bit about only being able to host every 3 yearsOtherwise a grand tourney won't be possible until turn 16/17, and the dragon wonder pretty much impossible to complete
Leonardo
Also I reckon my port at blackwater is done as well
Lord Syv Aldlark
Ah yes. The clueless engineer perk takes an extra turn. my fault will add to map and adjust incomes..Also I've always read it as one grand tournament per 5 years per everyone. If so I believe the last turn tournament counted as well.
Leonardo
Well my only point is it makes the blood of valyria trait really moot if there aren't multiple eggs in play
Lord Lyman
Well my only point is it makes the blood of valyria trait really moot if there aren't multiple eggs in play I think then it just needs to be re-worded and included with the first paragraph. I was reading it the same way as Syv.
Nox Irradiata
It's always been once every 5 years for everyone. That was even mentioned back when the adjustments to the dragon death rolls were being discussed this round.
Leonardo
That was also when the turns were still being thought to be a year longIt just is kind of crappy to have one of the defining characteristics of one of the regions a moot unattainable point that will never even begin to come into play and kind of shafts the people in the crownlands a bitAlso like I said it means only one egg until turn 16/17, and its already the hardest and most inconvenient wonder
Nox Irradiata
It was the luck of the draw that someone outside of the Crownlands got the first egg. If a Crownlander had gotten it, that would have still been the only egg in the game until the next grand tournament.
Leonardo
It was the luck of the draw that someone outside of the Crownlands got the first egg. If a Crownlander had gotten it, that would have still been the only egg in the game until the next grand tournament.Which would also still be a problem IMOThere should be more than just one egg floating around over the course of the game, or the wonder is impossible to even attemptAnd its not quite luck of the draw when most players are outside of the crownlands and therefore its far more likely to have not ended up in the crown lands anyways
Leonardo
Also it makes the tourney thing a grabby grabby mine mine situation where everyone is rushing to be the first to declare
Bright Blue Eyes
Yes, it's less than optimal. But fiddling in the middle of the game isn't the best solution either. Let's just stick with it for this iteration. I kept my small children despite the turns being quartered as well. Anyway:2/2 to colonize Goldshire.
