Takiedevushkikakzvezdy
I`ve noticed that there is a version of TWOIAF that has a red cover and one that has a black one. Is there any difference between them?
Rhaenys_Targaryen
No, the only difference is the cover, caused by the fact that there is a different publisher. Red cover is US (Bantam), black cover UK (Harper Voyager) ;) The contents are the same.
Phorward
Can anyone who have felt both books comment on which one to get. The content is the same but I found some people commenting on the physical differences between the two. What are those differences?

The black one is a dustcover. I don't know what the cover looks like underneath the dustcover.
DRS
I know this comes off a bit nerdy..but the black one feels like a book, while the red one feels like a nice book. I have many books in my collection, only a couple are padded.
titanx5
I have the UK version, I'm not a fan of dustcovers, wish could have got US version, but UK version was the only option available to me,. Anyways under the dustcover its just simply gray with the Targ sigil in silver, no writing on cover, only on dustcover. All the contents and info are the same in each book, so which ever book you get you wont miss any info
Phorward
Thanks for the comments so far. I only have the red one, which is a bit spongy.'Spongy' sounds negative but maybe I'm wrong there considering:I know this comes off a bit nerdy..but the black one feels like a book, while the red one feels like a nice book. I have many books in my collection, only a couple are padded. I'm leaning towards the US edition ATM. More opinions are welcome.
