Stannis th3 Mannis
Maybe I'm wrong or maybe crossing the booms and the show but Sir Barristin Selmy was on Robert Council at the beginning when there where discussing Jhora Mormon wanting a pardon and all the Killing Denarys stuff so why is it that he needed the letter to remind d him befor he went and told Denarys about it? Sorry for any spelling or other mistakes in advance
Shadrich
In the show he wasn't on the small council. In the books, he told her pretty much straight after revealing himself.
TallTyrion
No he isn't. There's a difference between the books and the show. There is no letter in the books. They had to put that into the show because Selmy wasn't on the small council in season 1.

TallTyrion
Got it.... I watched the show now I'm half way threw book 2 and yea it seemed wired I kinda thought I was something like that I would recommend the Still Reading Section of the forum then, unless spoilers don't matter to you. The books and the show are very different and the longer the show goes on the more different it gets.
Lord Lannister
Season 1 of the show was fairly accurate and true to the novel. But season 2 onwards the divergences got larger.
