Eponine Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I've met a True Believer. It was obnoxious. We had mutual friends. I thought it was all in good fun - a chance for everyone to get to know each other a little better by sharing how their horoscope did and did not match their actual personality (with freedom to laugh about where it was wrong). Mine (Pisces) didn't match my personality at all, and I said so. She responded by being defensive and basically accusing me of misrepresenting myself. When my friends said that I was describing myself accurately, first she started in on how it wasn't really accurate without my moon sign (which I don't have bc I don't have a birth certificate) and then announced that if I was skeptical, it could be throwing off the reading. That was convenient. I kind of burnt some bridges that day. I try to be a little more tolerant of people's superstitions now, but it's probably the biggest thing that I'm an asshole about.
