Shane snow
Joffreys first sword Lions tooth, thrown into the water by Arya.. Tempered in water... joffreys new sword Hearteater.. The heart of a lion.. Replaced with Widows Wail ... Azor Ahai put his sword through his wife breast.. Which could make him a widower. I don't know if it means anything just thought of it and figured I'd put it on here lol
Lykos
Oh no! We're all doomed - Joffrey was AAR! :o Now seriously, thats a very astute observation, Shane Snow. Apart from Martin having fun, this shows that Azor Ahai wasn't necessarily a "good guy" and those who propagate the coming of an AAR are to be watched with great care. LmL
That's a great catch actually. I think George repeats that "water, lion, widow" pattern in several places. I don't think it means Joffrey is AA, obviously, but the pattern is there. I definitely think AA could have been the bad guy, and this may be a hint in that direction. What ever happened to Hearteater?
Lykos
It probably went into the King's armoury when Joff received Widows Wail.
Shane snow
Yeh I'm not saying was Aar or anything just found it interesting that maybe widows wail is meant to do something eventually.. Especially where it's made from Ice
Lykos
Hmm..., so a little bit of Lightbringer + a lot of Oathkeeper = Ice.
WeaselPie
I do like this, but Nissa Nissa was not a widow when her husband killed her. But, a great catch on the pattern regardless.

DigUpHerBones
Olenna Redwyne I have NO idea when GRRM met my deceased Grandmother, but that woman is a spitting image of her. both in looks on the show, and the way she was, it is uncanny. to the point we call my father Lord Pufferfish now...
