TinaB
Did anyone else notice the Three spine type formities on Melisandra's back after she turns into a crone? In addition to the photo, watch carefully as she turns down the covers and climbs into bed. (Video link below) Thoughts? https://twitter.com/shortskrtlngjkt/status/816368788102938624

Wolfgirly
She's many centuries old and uses glamour to hide her true form. There is something to do with her necklace and her ability to change her appearance. She's given birth to shadows. Perhaps she's not human, not now anyway. She was human a very long time ago long ago but turned into an immortal creature obsessed by Azor Ahai.
Giomax
Melisandre is obviously disguised by a glamour spell, but is it produced by her necklace? In the scene where she's taking a bath and Stannis' wife walks in she isn't wearing the necklace (or anything) and still appears young and beautiful.
