And Trystane comes from Dorne, just as Tristan came from Lyonesse. And we all know what happened to Lyonesse. Dorne, or at least the sandy part, will sink beneath the waves. And good riddance. I guess it's also going to be revealed the Martells are actually fairies because Oberyn sounds like Oberon
Rose of Red Lake
Arianne is the key to Dorne like Sansa is key to the North. She has autonomy to decide Aegon’s fate and therefore holds more soft power than he does. And he’s not entitled to her or Dorne. Everyone in Aegon's camp thinks Dorne is already in their pocket. This is hugely presumptive. Also, Arianne doesn't want to risk war for a fake Targaryen or to be queen of Westeros. Dorne wants firepower, and Aegon doesn't have it. She didn't seem all that impressed that he took Storm's End. She knows they're just Blackfyres who have been defeated every time, this won't be any different. Now she'll be trapped in Storm's End in a siege with grey plague. This is all kinds of bad. I'm rooting for Arianne to tell Aegon to fuck off.
