Veltigar
I thought I had already made a topic about Mordew, the first novel in the trilogy, but I cannot seem to retrieve it. Anyways, this thread focusses on Axel Pheby's Cities of the Weft trilogy. This is a set of Fantasy novels heavily inspired by Charles Dickens and I find them absolutely gripping. I was first attracted to the books because of the beautiful cover art, but since then, I have also fallen for the world building and character writing Pheby has a knack for. For me at least, it's a very original piece of work and I'm starting this thread to give the books some notoriety and because I'm curious to see who else has read them on here.
