Aeron i think i really liked everyone's first chapter. it's been years since we've seen anything from them. and while i did like both entrances to braavos, none of the in braavos chapters were especially appealing. Arya II - Sansa II Does anybody feel the same way I do? Arya's chapter in GoT were great, and I hated Sansa's, but they've completely switched for me over the past 3 books. Arya's just acting like a little kid still, whereas Sansa's showing some real growth. Plus, Littlefinger. yes, that pretty much sums it up for me as well 11 Queenmaker, 12 Sansa II 13. BrienneV 14. Captain of Guards–Cersei I (finds Tywin) The Red Keep burning is chilling, But Dorne, Doran and the Sandsnakes rock. 3. Brienne I (Rosby: meets Shadrick) – Samwell I (leaves Castle Black) Yes, the snowflakes, the books. 4. Arya I (arrives Bravos) – Cersei II (Tywin's funeral) New insights in some characters. Kevan's last words in the chapter. 5. Jaime I (stands vigil) – Brienne II (Maidenpool: gets shield, Pod) The Mad Mouse is an interesting new character. Pod 6. Sansa I (Nestor Royce visits) – Captain's Daughter This was a difficult decision, I don't particularly like Asha, but the Reader rocks. 7. Cersei III (Marge/Tommy wedding) – Soiled Knight Cersei showing human feelings, like worries for her son, always gets me. 8. Brienne III (Duskendale: meets Randyll) – Samwell II (passage to Bravos) Meeting Randyll Tarly and Nimble Dick was interesting. 9. Jaime II (Kevan leaves) – Cersei IV (small council meets) Hard choice, Jaime has Kevan and the allusion to Renly's porn collection, but the early Cersei chapters were a really good read. 10. Victarion (arrives at Kingsmoot) – Aeron (Euron King!) in direct comparision Aeron beats Victarion in complexity and the kingsmoot is good. 11. Brienne IV - Queensmaker I can't stand Arys, nor do I particularly like Arianne. Brienne's chapter has a chattering Nimble Dick and a sad death for him. 12. Arya II - Sansa II Difficult choice, but I find Sansa more complex than Arya. 13. Cersei V - Brienne V Septon Meribald (I have to stop at the moment.) But Blackfish, Tom, Edmure, pissing contest between unruly bannermen—the ongoing stody of Cersei's psyche can't compete with that. 21. Princess in the Tower – Alayne It's a great, great Sansa chapter that would knock out most of the other chapters in the book "while taking a piss with its left", but just thinking of the finale of Arianne's makes me shiver.
