Rhymes of Ice and Fire v. 13

Buckwheat

Recommended Posts

I dream a dream in fevered sleep,

Of bloodshed on the sand,

One of seven, before the keep,

Where three men make their stand.

We come across the knights in white,

In armour, their swords drawn,

Surrounded by a ghostly light,

As Arthur Dayne draws Dawn.

The others, they stand by his side,

As brave men stand by me,

I stood and watched, as each man died,

The cost of loyalty.

Yet now I lie, bound in chains,

And sing this tired song,

For even now, the thought remains,

Of how this went so wrong.

I looked for you, upon the field,

I remark to the three,

Ser Barristan has pledged to yield,

What will become of thee?

They fix me with an iron stare,

As my shades move ahead,

And thank your Gods we were not there,

Or your King would be dead.

King Aerys on his throne would sit,

The false knight, burn in hell,

On spikes, the traitor's heads would fit,

And you'd be there as well.

Our place is here, and still we say,

The Kingsguard do not flee,

For our knees, even here today,

Do not bend easily.

Arthur Dayne, his will unbroken,

Steps forth, a challenge sends,

I reply, the sad truth spoken,

In answer, now it ends.

We stand and talk before the stone,

Of a tower fit to fall,

Three greater knights were never known,

And yet, we killed them all.

Though at great cost, for of the ten,

Only we two remained,

To walk into that bloodied den,

Of blue roses, bloodstained.

I held her body, as I wept,

For promises I made,

And to this day, I still have kept,

Those plans that we had laid.

We tore it down, the ancient stone,

And laid those men to rest,

Now while I leave this world alone,

I do so, for the best.

Right, I was kind of adapting this while listening to this song on my drive home. Though I fear it's not up to the standard being set by you guys :frown5:

Oh, make me over

I'm all I wanna be

A walking study

In being queen bee

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, so glad you could make it now

Oh, look at my face

My name is might have been

My name is never was

My name's forgotten

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, there's only us left now

When I wake up in my makeup

It's too early for that dress

Wilted and faded somewhere in Westeros

I'm glad I came here with your pound of flesh

No second billing 'cause you're a star now

Oh, Lady Sansa, they aren't sluts like you

Beautiful garbage, beautiful dresses

Can you stand up or will you just fall down?

You better watch out

Oh, what you wish for

It better be worth it

So much to die for

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, there's only us left now

When I wake up in my makeup

Have you ever felt so used up as this?

It's all so sugarless, you're his mistress

A bad actress, oh, just go nameless!

Margaery, she's full of poison

She obliterated everything she kissed

Now she's fading somewhere in Westeros

I'm glad I came here with your pound of flesh

You want a part of me?

Well, I'm not selling cheap

No, I'm not selling cheap

I see clouds gathering

The blowing wind gives me chills

It's time to say goodbye

To our merry Summer thrills.

I see all the leaves falling

In their dance of gold and red

Remember all the good things

In the darker days ahead.

When all is cold and white

And the sky is deadly black

May the memories of us

Bring some joy and hope back.

(I'll work on the rest once I'm back, I'm still not happy with this)

And if the Gods let us survive

Another Winter so cold

Those are the stories we'll tell

When we are frail and old.

Until then, to keep us warm,

We shall fight and we shall sing

'Til we see the fading storm

And the first glimpse of Spring.

Just cause (at least here) Winter is coming :)

(Original - "

" from Chicago musical)

And now the six merry murderesses of this side of the Narrow Sea

In their rendition of "The Black Cells Tango"

Peach! Skin! Gold! Uh-uh! Feast! Freys!

Peach! Skin! Gold! Uh-uh! Feast! Freys!

He had it coming, he had it coming

He only had himself to blame

If you'd have been there, if you'd have seen it

I betcha you would have done the same

Peach! Skin! Gold! Uh-uh! Feast! Freys!

[MELISANDRE]

You know how people have these little habbits that get you down. Like... Renly.

Renly liked to be a rebel. Not just a rebel. A TRAITOR.

So he and Stannis had a parley one day, and there I am witnessing, and I'm telling him to accept his true king and there's Renly joking as usual, being rebellious and obnoxious. No, not just rebellious. PEACHY. So I said to him, I said "the night is dark and full of terrors...", and he laughed.

So I just gave birth to a shadow and sent it after Renly... a dark, cold death.

He had it coming, he had it coming

He only had himself to blame

If you had been there, if you had heard it

I betcha you would have done the same!

[CERSEI]

I met Robert Baratheon from Storm's End about thirteen years ago and he vowed to make me Queen, so we got married right away.

So, we started living together. He'd go hunt, he would come home, I'd pour him a drink, we'd have dinner. And then, in bed, "Lyanna" he told me???

Lyanna, fuck's sake! Not only he loved her... oh no, he had several mistresses. One of those male-whores, you know. So that morrow, when he left home to hunt, I gave his skin of wine to Lancel as usual.

You know, some guys just can't hold their strong wine.

He had it coming

He had it coming!

He took a lioness in its prime!

And then he used it

And he abused it!

It was a murder, but not a crime!

[ARYA]

Now, I'm standing in this Inn, drinking some ale with the Hound,

minding my own business,

and in storms that man, The Tickler,

as plain as ever.

"Is there gold in the village?", he says.

He was crazy, and he kept repeating,

"Is there gold in the village?"

And then he ran into my Needle.

He ran into my Needle a hundred times.

If you'd have been there

If you'd have seen it

I betcha you would have done the same!

[MARGAERY]

What I am doing here?

They say I've been fornicating around while my Royal husband doesn't become of age.

But it isn't true, I am innocent.

I don't know why all the court says I did it.

I tried to explain to the Holy Faith but they wouldn't believe me.

(Yeah, but did you do it???)

Uh-uh... NOT GUILTY!!!

[QUEEN OF THORNS]

My grandaughter, Margaery and I had this powerful plan and her bethroted, Joffrey, was part of it.

Now, while having dinner in King's Landing, Lady Sansa told us the raw, ugly truth... lies, sins, pain, evil, dread... beatings, mental abuse, cruelty, madness, one right after the other.

Well, this one night in their wedding feast, all were happy, boozing and having a few laughs, and Joff ran out of wine. So he sent Tyrion to get some.

And so he did, Joff drank and there's this frightening, awful, thin sound - a closing throat.

Well, I was in such a state of shock, I completely blacked out. I couldn't remember a thing. It wasn't until later, when I recalled straightnening Sansa's hairnet, I realized why he was dead.

They had it coming!

They had it coming!

They had it coming all along!

I didn't do it

But if I'd done it

How could you tell me that I was wrong???

[CATELYN / LADY STONEHEART]

I knew Freys were scum

more than I can possibly say.

They were just those kind of guys... proud... really prickly.

They were trying to get back at my son Robb.

Then on Edmure's wedding night they stood up for themselves and on the way murdered Robb,

Dacey, Raynald and me.

I guess you can say they're dying by the dozen due to warfare differences.

They saw themselves as alive

And I saw them dead.

The dirty scums, scums, scums, scums, scums!

The dity scums, scums, scums, scums, scums!

They had it coming!

They had it coming!

They had it coming all along!

'Cause if they used us

And they abused us

How could you tell us that we were wrong?

He had it coming

He had it coming

He only had himself to blame!

If you'd have been there?

If you'd have seen it

I betcha you would have done the same!

Peach... skin.. Gold... Uh-uh... Feast... Freys...

Guess Who:

Don't really want you, i'll give it a try

you're beautiful, your dragons can fry

Gave you the key to achieve your goal

Didn't accept it, now your city's a broken soul.

You defeated us once, but don't be so glad

I'm attacking west and making you feel bad

Where me and my folk live, its gets quite dry

my nickname may suggest i do, but its you who'll cry

War has come, and now its my time to rule.

I thought i'd be married, i was a fool.

But i was just loyal, tragedy i didn't want.

Our lands are taken, i'm a prisoner who's gaunt.

Covered with lots of fat are my bones

I'm a secret player in the game of thrones.

Oh don't think i only play for a queen

My glory will come, i'm oh so keen.

I'll message the answers.

The dilemmas between honour and one's life and love - Jon about his vows and Ygritte

Hear my words and bear witness to my vow.

... the way she draws her dangerous bow ...

Night gathers, and now my watch begins.

... oh, father, are my dreams such deadly sins?

It shall not end until my death.

... my mind upon my task is set.

I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children.

... but when she looked at me that way ...

I shall wear no crowns and win no glory.

... and told me Bael's story ...

... I shall live and die at my post ...

Tonight she came to me, and did what man likes most.

... I am the sword in the darkness ...

I broke my honors, I confess!

... I am the watcher on the walls ...

And she kisses me and my name calls.

... I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men ...

I promise, it won't happen again!

... I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all nights to come ...

Please, just this night, and then another and then some.

I wish this would be on tumblr with a special gif or picture: Jon kneeling in front of the weirwood at one side, and Ygritte (smiling would be the best) on the other side, in the middle Jon with an I-know-nothing, worried, confused face - would this be possible? Where is our gif/photoshop master? ;)
