It might be a language barrier.

But "a cause" is same as "a reason" in my book.

I can't imagine a reason for an object. For creating or using an object, likely; but not for an object itself.

But, being a body part, I think you can talk about the cause of it being removed from the body (=its making) as in why it exists, its reason to be.

But, being a body part, I think you can talk about the cause of it being removed from the body (=its making) as in why it exists, its reason to be.

Well, Varis' balls and Tyrion's nose were both played already. And Jayme's hand likely too.

So, I can think only about Theon's (different) bodyparts or ser Ilyn's tongue. No great cause, either way...
