She does have some sort of role in better understanding SOME of the characters, especially for those who don't read the books. The only time I ever had a problem with her was that way too long scene of her and another prostitute being trained in Littlefinger's brothel in Season 1. They couldn't have the thirty different named prostitutes on the show as they do in the series. I like that they're all consolidated into one. And Ros seems very human as well.
