Howie Manderly
I am unable to connect to the site for half hour stretches multiple times a day.It says that the site is offline, is this just from too many people being on at once or is it something with me? Xray the Enforcer
It is due to the very high traffic that the show brings. It will likely continue in this fashion until season 3 ends. Zimriel
It was 500 errors for me today.Personally, I don't mind. It lets me air out that "the site is dark and full of errors" joke again

Sparks
The 404 error happens when Ran is doing things like running OPTIMIZE TABLE on the forum; to reduce load quickly, he'll move the forum's index file out of the way (to avoid things hitting the database). The 500 error happens either when something has gone Really Wrong, or just briefly when the watchdog I put together detects that the system is looking a wee bit short on memory and kicks php-fpm to make sure it frees up any leftover buffers. In the former case, it'll stick around for a while. In the latter case, it'll go away within 30 seconds. ;)
