The Dornish Direwolf
I've read and re-read the available five books pertaining to ASOIAF. I really wanted to read The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and The Mystery Knight(I know that's part of a larger book). The question I have is, why do the first two books in this series cost a small fortune(as far as books go) on Amazon? Is there a better place to buy them? I see they are for a reasonable price on Kindle, but I really prefer to have a physical copy of the books. Maybe it's a stupid question, but I was just curious. kane120
I was wondering the same thing. Out of print maybe? I just got them from my library.
Lummel
Are you looking at the anthologies that contain the stories or the graphic novels?

The Dornish Direwolf
Thanks for your help, I understand now. Perhaps the graphic novels will make a nice birthday present :cool4:
thecryptile
As for owning the actual books, I think there is a collection of the Dunk and Egg novellas supposed to be released next year, perhaps including The She-Wolves of Winterfell. I could be horribly wrong with that though.I heard that too, I hope so. The Hedge Knight story is in volume II of Dreamsongs.
lady m
It's just the graphic novels that cost a good deal. I got all three anthologies for around $20.00 US not too terribly long ago.
