We all knew that Robert was hugely in debt to the iron Bank of Braavos, and since it is in Braavos, it is likely that the Iron Bank has very close ties to that of the faceless men.

Is it possible that the boar was actually a faceless man in disguise and that is why Robert was killed?

I think it was the skin changer Borroq, using his ferocious boar. Why he would want to kill Robert remains to be seen however..

This was actually a brilliant maneuver by Mance Rayder, to get rid of the king south of the wall and start a huge war, so that he could attack the wall without having to fear for the southron lords.
