Question about Patch face prophecy?

A lot of the prophecies or sayings patchface has contains the words under the sea. It is obvious that he could be talking about literally under the sea but is it possible hes not. In the cave with Ygritte and Jon we learn the story of Gendel and Gorne who lead the free folk underneath the wall through a system of caves. The wall is massive, so could any of his prophecies have to do with these tunnels "under the sea"? Possibly a way for the Wights to get pass the wall unkown?

Eh, maybe, but I don't see it. There are one or two Patchface quotes that might make sense if "under the sea" means "underground", though:

Under the sea, the birds have scales for feathers

Melisandre believes there's a dragon under Dragonstone, and there's theories that there might be dragons underneath Winterfell.

I suppose these two might possibly apply to Jon and Ygritte in those caves, given how happy they are down there, and how it's a respite from the awful cold above ground.

It is always summer under the sea. The merwives wear nennymoans in their hair and weave gowns of silver seaweed. I know. I know…

Under the sea it snows up, and the rain is dry as bone.

I wouldn't call his sayings 'prophecies', but still the things he says are pretty creepy..

It's interesting that Melisandre says that he's dangerous in ADWD...also it seems like Patchface might be more aware of what's going on around him than we were led to believe earlier, based on some of his interactions at Castle Black. It definitely seems there is more to him, at least.

In a land where magic swords that radiate light, dragons & giants exist and horrible undead Ice-men are said to ride Giant Spiders (let alone, warging and prophesy), is it really that inconceivable to take Patchface at face value and believe there is an undersea land of merefolk, or at least an underground (under the sea cave network) land, where the inhabitants worship a "drowned god"?

It all seems very plausible to me. But then, "I WANT TO BELIEVE"

I was thinking about this today and thought maybe he meant on the other side of the sea. I had a quick look at the world map thinking that maybe under the sea meant south of the sea, but that would be the summer isles, when I thought he meant Essos.

Funny, he talked about the Red Wedding and it happened. I'd say they are prophecies, but more vague than the rest of them. Patchface is Westeros' own Nostradamus.
