Duke-of-Kaisa
It struck me as odd that Ghost and Jon should find a freshly dug mound at the base of the fist of the first men in which contained the nights watch cloak, Dragonglass arrowheads and daggers and the broken horn. My thinking is that someone - perhaps Benjen, Coldhands or Bloodraven/ CoTF planted those there intending that they be found by the nights watch. The Dragonglass has already proven it's value and the fact that the wildlings were searching for the horn to bring down the wall makes me think whoever put that bundle at the base of the fist wanted the horn safe so that the wall would remain intact knowing the danger of the comming invasion of wights/Others would put all of Westeros in peril. Anyone else think the horn is more than just a broken relic as Sam thinks?
Julia Martell
Yup, if only because of how awesome this would be. There is the slight problem of him being in Oldtown though.
Victarion Chainbreaker
I think so too. Furthermore, I think Jaqen is at the Citadel to steal the horn from Sam so he can bring the 'gift' to the Seven Kingdoms.

What kind of sacrifice did that take, and who made it?
BearQueen87
I think it's the horn of Jorramun as well. And I suspect it will be blown before Winds end. You don't find an object like that, have a character travel with it, and then never see it in action.

He was in the Citadel before Jon sent Sam away, possibly before Jon was even elected Lord Commander. It's difficult to imagine that he could have anticipated that, or that he even had a way of knowing that the horn existed.
aryagonnakill#2
Maybe it will bring down the Hightower and be what allows Euron to sack Oldtown.

I also think Jaqen is in Oldtown to find something other than the horn, but once he realizes what the horn Sam brought is, he's going to want it in addition to whatever is in Oldtown. Stannis's birthright
Do anyone thinks that is the Horn is sounded in Oldtown , that The Wall will Fall ... I just can't see it .Just too much distance .

Seeing into the future is not an unheard of ability in Westeros, and for a character as magical Jaqen, I wouldn't be surprised.
Duke-of-Kaisa
I don't think the wall would fall if sounded from old town, but I do wonder what other magical properties the horn possesses. Perhaps it may be another horn able to call/control dragons or other creatures?

Duke-of-Kaisa
That's a terrifying thought BearQueen87. I'd like to think it might do other magical things when not in the direct vicinity of the wall. Who do you think put it in the bundle at the base of the fist and do you think they meant it for Jon or the Night's Watch in general?
aryagonnakill#2
The dragon horn didn't bind a dragon when it was sounded out of sound distance from them, there's no reason to expect the horn of Joramun would bring down the wall out of sound distance. That's only if the "dragon horn" does what Euron says it will do. I am...suspicious.

40 Thousand Skeletons
I do think it is clearly the Horn of Joramun, created by CoTF just like their obsidian weapons. I think the horn "wakes up" the dead greenseers whose collective life force is currently holding the wall up. I think the Wall will fall toward the middle/end of WoW (don't know if it can be done from Oldtown). The FM want to kill everyone, that is their end-game, because life is suffering. I have wondered if "the horn that wakes the sleepers" referenced in the oath is a literal 'horn that wakes the dead CoTF'. And generally, I wonder if other elements of the NW oath are specifically referencing things.
Poppa Chase
Just like the book on life and death of dragons, I think there are two places this horn can be found, but you need both. Sam has one from the tomb of Joramun, which I presume is where bloodraven found it. The other is in the citadel. Now jaqen was drafted to get the horn and books by the the faceless men, because they have for seen a doom In westeros. One caused by ice creatures. So they decided to figure out how to hatch dragons, and how to command them. Because the fact that the zombies can walk through water means that Braavos isn't safe either. So he gets both parts of the horn and makes it complete. Then I believe he is to use the horn, which does not bring down the wall. It simply wakes the sleeping giants. (greenseers) so they as well as dragons, can defeat the impending doom.
