DreamSongs
My sister is a huge Buster Keaton fan and I am planning a 'Buster Keaton' gift box for Christmas. There are several books and multiple DVDs out there, but I was hoping that someone who shares my sister's interest could lead me to the right ones. Thank you! The Mance
His earlier silent films are generally considered to be funnier than his later talking productions.Thats all I got.
Winterfell is Burning
His best movies are Sherlock Jr. and The General (both from what I've seen and in general consensus), so pick whatever DVD contains those. Also, yes, his talking movies are not well regarded.
DreamSongs
I got that 'The General' was one of his most highly regarded. I bought her 'Sunset Blvd' with Gloria Swanson last year. I am trying to avoid anything related to his collaboration with Fatty Arbuckle because she is a rather strict Catholic and Arbuckle doesn't have a great reputation. Does anyone have a recommendation for a complete DVD collection of Keaton?
