rob+Jon?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever given thought to the possibility that rob and Jon had a homosexual relationship, but it never materialized to a physical one due to them going on their own paths?

In the books its stated numerous times that rob was the closest one to jon out of the entire stark household.

Hist father couldn't show love to him due to him being a bastard, and cat's hatred for him. Theon never should any affection to him. Sansa regarded with a kinder but colder fealings due to him being a bastard ( refering to him as her half brother). Arya and Jon were close but due to the fact she was the only child of Ned and cat to not have the Tully looks, and being against the social norm of someone of her birth should be. Bran was close to him but was still to young and caught in his dream of knighthood, and finally Rickon is a baby.

So considering this could Jon and Rob been on the path to having a homosexual given the fact all the times jon thought of rob, rob naming Jon as his heir, could this mean that they each harbored homosexual feelings for one another, but they remained in a indirect affection relationship?

P.S. I'm only bringing this to question.

I can't really tell if you're joking or not, but no. Just no, on so many levels! :ack:

I actually got the impression that they were both very passive aggressive towards each other since they were both competing for their passionate relationships with Arya. If you read closely this is really the only explanation for all their thoughts about each other.

Eh ... welcome to the forums ... :uhoh:

Cannot tell if serious, but here you go:

In the books its stated numerous times that rob was the closest one to jon out of the entire stark household.

I do not see how this points to homosexuality. They are brothers, and Starks are neither Targs nor Lannisters.

Hist father couldn't show love to him due to him being a bastard,

Wrong. Eddard treated Jon as he did the other children.

Arya and Jon were close but due to the fact she was the only child of Ned and cat to not have the Tully looks, and being against the social norm of someone of her birth should be.

Are you implying Arya was only friendly with Jon because she had no other friends?

So considering this could Jon and Rob been on the path to having a homosexual given the fact all the times jon thought of rob, rob naming Jon as his heir, could this mean that they each harbored homosexual feelings for one another, but they remained in a indirect affection relationship?

How does any of these proves anything homosexual between them?

Both Robb and Jon show heterosexual tendencies in the story (Jeyne, Ygritte). I suppose one could argue they were both bisexual, but I do not see any textual proof for that.

Jon was not as lonely as you try to paint him at Winterfell. The children often remember their childhood games and jokes, and Jon was not excluded from those. They were very close to each other. And even if he were lonely, this still does not proof he might have been homosexual.

They're brothers, they think of each other as brothers and I..can't..even.*

(Besides, Robb was totally boinking Theon: the absurd levels of trust and his despair at Theon's betrayl)

*Although, there are some very nice fanvids on youtube,

Oh, I never suggested Lord Snow would perform the Lord's Kiss on another Lord. But it is definitely proven in the text that he has had the Lord's Kiss performed on himself by a certain wildling lady. :blushing:

ETA: North of the Wall, not in some flowery city in the south either.

Sorry good Ser Flower, I mistook your meaning. But of course the wilding harpy went down on the Snowman, no one can resist him. He is the second most interesting man in Westeros...he is the White Dragon
