UFT Posted August 10, 2017 Share Posted August 10, 2017 how would westeros shape up if andalos kept to itself? maybe whatever got valyria got them too. would it just be endless age of heroes or would one or two houses conquer the others, such as the royces? Dofs Posted August 10, 2017 Share Posted August 10, 2017 According to TWOIAF, the Andals didn't really shape the Westeros as much, the only real thing they brought in was religion. Consider that the history of Westeros can best be described as a power struggle between the oldest human faction (Hightowers, Daynes, etc) and the Children of the Forest. The Children subverted the First Men by means of religion, so the Humans fought fire with fire and recruited the Andals and their aggressive, martial faith and culture.
