Probably the book Gilly was reading came along, seeing as it has the casual reveal of Jon's legitimacy. For the record, "annulments" are supposed to be for unconsummated marriages only, but the show regularly shits all over its own internal logic, so I don't doubt Jon is legitimate in the show's continuity from now on.
