It's pretty obvious (to me at least) what Thio was hinting at, but I've learned my mistake as far as giving away too much of other players info before the time is right.

Right, so he was a FM and Thio claims she is the guard. I'll wait for other players and see if there's not a counterclaim. I also consider another option- the real guard (Lany? Week?) has been already killed and Thio wants to reverse the tide. Make of it what you want, of course.

See, that's the thing. If we eliminated all the FMs, then I failed to block the SK last night. If we didn't, maybe I did?

I can't conclude anything about Shadowbaby given the information, especially in light of the two FM lynches. So my vote will go on A Homeless Harpy as well. Who wants to lynch a roled innocent but a guilty man?

By the way, to explain my playstyle... I actually kinda got the idea from your last game, Piper, in a fashion. I wanted to be lynchable, but not lynched. It would at least lower the risk of an FM night kill. Of course, now the newbie card doesn't work anymore, but it got me through two days!

Anyways, I don't think there's much to be gleaned from another reread of Shadowbaby, seeing as she's avoided saying anything of substance. I'll just go with guarding her again tonight, unless we find somebody more suspicious.

ETA: Nice thinking, Halo, but I've been hinting at guard since the beginning of day two. Plus, how would I know if I'd killed the guard? There's no finder in this game, aside from alignment when people are killed.

If I am lynched, Thio, hardly anyone will believe in your guard claim - you must be aware of it yourself. I'm looking forward to that moment. It will also become evident that Filter is your...er...friend in crime. From that point the game will be easy.

For the record, Kat, my secret reason for lynching Daedalus was that I read between the lines and saw that Thio was hinting at being the guard. And that he had guarded Daedalus on night 1, so Daedalus could have been the SK. It was another point against Daedalus, but I didn't want to come right out and say it, just in case the FM/SK somehow failed to realize that he was hinting he was the guard.

There's actually quite a few possibilities for only 1 night kill.

1) Daed or Gerty were the SK. Either situation would explain only 1 kill 2 nights in a row, as you gaurded Daed night 1, and Gerty was dead. Of course, this hinges on the SK coming up guilty in the weak CF.

2) The healer outguessed someone one of the last two nights.

3) Shabba is the SK.

4) All the FM's are dead...which would mean we had a pretty poorly balanced game. Unless they had some sort of roles or a symp/gaurd or some such thing. I don't know much about balance and role-spec, so take that with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't say that. Avoiding saying anything of substance is actually something to be gleaned. But there's more I want to look for than just that. In any case, I'd agree with you that barring changes, guarding her again is the best plan.

I realize the official answer is 'there are no clues in death scenes' but it implied that Lany's killers were FM... hence why I figured it was the SK kill that didn't go through.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Maybe I am just totally off my mark once again but this reveal just makes me suspect you all the more. Part of me wants to believe you but then I remember the link between you and Daed yesterday and the fact that a FM would be pretty desperate right now.

Why would you hint at having a role at all? It seems like a sure fire way to get yourself targeted for a night kill.

Also, if you guarded Shadowbaby and there was only one kill last night wouldn't it make more sense to vote for her instead of Harpy?

I can VPI Filter and Whiskeyjack, because they would have killed me if they suspected me of being guard. I think Halo Bender are Piper PI. Neither have done much I find actually suspicious.

Your reaction is pretty nervous, Thio. Yes, I did want to lynch you and no, I am not following Piper because he is not my leader - as simple as that. I didn't kill you because I am innocent. After my lynch your play will come out, that was the conclusion of my previous post. I'm wondering why you decided to vote for me instead for Piper, though. If he was a leader and I just a pawn, following him, what's the deal? And why do you want me to switch votes to Halo? Are you afraid? ;p Was Piper voting for you to draw our attention from Daedalus?
