  1. She and Cooper were divorced by that point, and sharing custody of their daughter.
  2. They did a pretty good job replicating the game shot-for-shot
  3. For me, Sarah's death in the TV show didnt hit as hard as in the game. But apart from that, good episode!
  4. I probably should've said "BAD VIDEO GAME TO LIVE ACTION ADAPTATION" instead.
  5. THE "BAD VIDEO GAME ADAPTATION" CURSE HAS FINALLY BEEN LIFTED FOLKS!!! https://www.metacritic.com/tv/the-last-of-us/season-1 (and wtf, why was the video in my previous post made private)
  6. Very recent interview with the directors and cast members giving their thoughts on the show
  7. Really? I was bored out of mind during that scene. Just one of the many moments in the 2nd game that bored me to death.
  8. You wouldn't think that with the number of people on Reddit and on Youtube comments sections complaining about how ugly she is and how they should've cast someone better looking.
  9. There's nothing wrong with trying to cater to different types of audiences. The issue is the demonstrable lack of respect that Netflix and its writers have shown for the source material which they're drawing from. Why do you think Henry Cavill chose not to return as Geralt?
  10. Compare this Blood Origin trailer against the new Last of Us trailer, and the difference in quality is basically night and day. WTF is Netflix thinking?
  11. Posters for all characters have been released: https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2022/12/01/these-new-the-last-of-us-hbo-posters-show-off-the-cast-as-their-respective-characters/ Also, the show is officially premiering on January 16, 2023.
  12. Meh, Arcane was good, but overrated IMO. Also, animation tends be looked down on compared to live action.
  13. And what agenda are you referring to specifically? My complaints about the second game stem entirely from the pacing and story, which I found to be far inferior to the first game. I honestly couldn't care less about she-hulk Abby or lesbian Ellie.
  14. Same, on the one hand, this looks to be shaping up to quite possibly be the very first video game adaptation in history that is actually good. On the other hand, I don't like Neil Druckmann and what he did to TLoU2.
  15. Just FYI for anyone not aware, both Troy Baker and the girl who played Ellie in the game (forgot her name) will both appear in the TV series, but they will be playing diffferent characters. Rumor is that Troy will play David and the girl will play Ellie's mom. Also, the dude who played Tommy in the game will also appear, but he'll be playing one of the residents of the Quarantine Zone. The only actor who will be directly reprising their role from the video game is Merle Dandridge, who played Marlene in the game and will also be playing Marlene again in the TV series.
