I had a quick look at a few random chapters, and they seem to be identical.

Moqorro's prophcy about th Kraken - since it has only one eye, I suspect it's Euron rather than Victarion.

I started a thread for the homages here. So far, it seems all we have is another one for Roger Zelazny, and a couple of Monty Python gags. As for the questions, "What is the Doom of Valyria" can be added to the update list. Possibly update the "Who is PtwP/AA" and "Who is KotLT" as well.

My first thought on seeing the Greatjon was "He used to be in Casualty". Then Grey Wind bit his fingers off, and I thought "he was a doctor, he'll know how to take care of that". Another thought on that line - I recognised the actor despite the huge beard, which is the sort of thing which will make it difficult for them to disguise Barristan further down the line. Ghost seemed to turn into Lassie for a minute there. Naked Hodor seemed to be the comic relief moment for this episode.

I gave it a 9, but there seemed to me to be a lot of stuff which would fly over the heads of non-readers - I could watch it and say "yes, it's that bit, and oh, we saw that scene in Jaime's memory in SoS, and they mentioned Dunk", but non-readers could well be confused.
