I don't know what we'll do in CL or what we'll do in the PL. What I do know is that watching Arsenal in 2024 is the most fun I've had watching football... maybe ever. We are suffocating. We are prolific. It's fun. I'm just going to enjoy the ride. Feels like we're building something special even if we're not there yet.

As a fan of a team that won a few of those types last year and still lost the title, I’ll be happy to watch my team dominate others. It’s a more relaxing experience. Regardless, we won 1-0 against city with a goal in the 86th minute.

Gotta hope Martinelli isn't seriously injured. That wouldn't be ideal just as we start getting guys back.

This feels unfair.

This is true and Forest is at fault for not clearing it but when there is 2 minutes in the game and you take away the opportunity for Forest to burn 30-60s, it absolutely matters. Instead of Liverpool having 2-3 shots at hoofing the ball into the box, they may only have one or two and that's the difference between winning and drawing in this game.

Sorry mate but Konate wasn't kicked. You can show a single still where his foot is near his head from an angle that shows no actual contact (because it can't from that angle) but if you watch the full replay in real time, it went right past him and he hit his own keeper. The point isn't that Tierney is for Liverpool. The point is that he's a horribly incompetent ref that his punishment for fucking up in the dying moments of a crucial game is to VAR another team where every decision matters. It's pretty damn poor.

Liverpool reminds me of us last year. This game was Bournemouth for us. Opponents have put up over 5xg in last 3 games and haven’t given up a goal. Regression to mean with all those injuries is bound to happen.

Liverpool decided that the standards for sportsmanship do not apply late in game when chasing a goal. They should have given it back to Forest because Forest had clear control at the edge of their box before their own defender ran into their own goalkeeper.

Absolutely miserable. 36 fouls. 50 minutes of ball in play. Anytime they were touched, whether by us or their own players, they fell down and cried like their leg fall off. Was insane. Can’t imagine they will get away with that at Emirates but I do expect the lowest of blocks. Reminds of Lens in group stage.

Artetas problem as well. But reality is sometimes shit happens. Biggest issue on Arsenal side is a lot of the injuries are to the same people so need to get rid of them because their unavailability is what they’re known for rather than what they can do to help the team.
