  1. Mission Critical, edited by Jonathan Strahan, is 0.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  2. Doesn't specify American sales. I figure it's the consolidated numbers for English language editions, which would make more sense. If you put Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the USA, yada yada yada, then 2 million copies make more sense. And still quite impressive!
  3. I doubt that these are US numbers. Probably more worldwide sales or something of the kind. Considering the number of installments available, they would have ended up on various bestseller lists and/or continued to sell at a high level for years to reach that amount.
  4. Ernest Cline's Armada is 2.99$ on Kindle.
  5. Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale is 2.99$ on Kindle.
  6. Tim Powers' Last Call is 0.99$ on Kindle. Neal Stephenson's Quicksilver is 1.99$ on Kindle.
  7. Mark Lawrence's Limited Wish is 1.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  8. Guy Gavriel Kay's A Song for Arbonne is 4.99$ on Kindle. And you can get The Last Light of the Sun and Ysabel for a dollar more.
  9. Peter V. Brett's The Warded Man is 1.99$ on Kindle.
  10. Nick Mamatas' The People's Republic of Everything is 1.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  11. The Best of Gene Wolfe is 2.99$ on Kindle. Victoria Schwab's City of Ghosts is 1.99$ on Kindle.
  12. It is more likely to see the light in the spring/summer of 2020. Unless great chunks of the story had already been turned in and reviewed by the editor prior to his delivering the final manuscript. They'll also want to market it adequately, so they won't be in a rush to publish it.
  13. Adrian Tchaikovsky's Redemtion's Blade is 0.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  14. Mira Grant's Into the Drowning Deep is 2.99$ on Kindle.
  15. Kate Elliott's Cold Magic is 3.99$ on Kindle.
  16. Mark Lawrence's One Word Kill is 1.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  17. Joe Abercrombie's The Heroes is 3.99$ on Kindle.
  18. John Gwynne's A Time of Dread is 2.99$ on Kindle (Canada and USA).
  19. The ship may just have crashed into the ocean and they had to cross it to reach land. Which would also explain why they have lost so much from the Garden.
  20. All 4 installments of Sebastien de Castell's The Greatcoats series are 2.99$ each on Kindle.
  21. Not exactly fantasy, but Carlos Ruiz Zafon's The Labyrinth of the Spirits is 2.99$ on Kindle (US only).
  22. I guess that's to be expected. For example, I figure that stores here carry way more Guy Gavriel Kay than you would find in any American bookstore. Out of curiosity, in which area are you? I know that in NYC, some stores I've visited in the past offered the very best SFF selection I've seen this side of London, England.
  23. For a limited time, Samantha Shannon's The Priory of the Orange Tree is 1.99$ on Kindle (USA and Canada).
  24. For what it's worth, my review is up on the Hotlist. Pretty much agree with everything Lord Varys said. . .
