I think these four people would have made for spectacular Kings (Viserys II was a very good leader/administrator and the rest proved their metal during the war). daario's man
Jace showed great leadership, if he had been backed by Daemon, Corlys and Addam of Hull he would have done pretty well for himself.
Lord Varys
Rhaenyra. But I also hope King Trystane gets plenty of time on the Iron Throne before Aegon retakes the city. Jace would also have been a good ruler, I guess, but none of Alicent's children seem to be good leader figures. Daeron was a nice guy, but he was not trained to rule, anat d was ridiculed by some of his own soldiers. Whether Aegon III and Viserys II won anything remains to be seen. Aegon is already traumatized for the remainder of his life, and we don't yet know what he had to endure as his uncle's prisoner. It may be that Viserys would have been a much better king, if he had ascended the Iron Throne earlier. That's at least the vibe we get from the way he management the administration of both Daeron I and Baelor I. We don't yet know if Aegon III really took charge of the Realm when he grew of age. Perhaps he allowed to his council to continue its rule? If that's the case, and if Viserys was appointed Hand by Aegon III, it may be that he was the Hand who ruled the Realm under three kings before he ascended the Iron Throne. I don't remember him in the Books! ps I heard that some people like King Hugh Hammer others hate him because burning of Town and townfolks I think would have like him IF he did not burn the town and people. The Vulture King
Rhaenyra without question she was the heir........ I personally think the Targs would have reached a ultimate high in power during her reign and right after. The Targs would have have had the most dragon riders ever and the most male heirs ever meaning the family name would have grown 3 fold. Meaning even more dragon riders. Also lets not forget the Velaryions were pretty much on their way to becoming a second Westeros dragon riding family. If things hadn't gotten all mucked up, Westeros through the Targs was on its way to becoming a world super power that no one could have contended with for many many generations. =[ Dummies.
