Galaxian
I have "Best Moment in the show" reserved for when Jon is named Lord Commander, hopefully next season. Until that time, I have Tyrion's finally snapping during this trial.

Salafi Stannis
calm down, at least unlike you the thread actually has good content it seemed fine to me tbh I've said it before and I'll say it again, the thread title was about best moments from the show, then the OP started talking about a moment from the books, and then discussed at length. And I'm not even going to respond to that unprovoked insult.

Hand to King Davos
"Grenn was from a farm." :agree: This line tells you everything you need to know about the Night's Watch, for me. Likewise, from the book, LC Mormont and Jon's conversation: Mormont: "Tell me this does not trouble you, and I will call you liar." Jon: "And if it did trouble me, what might I do, bastard that I am?" Mormont: "What will you do, bastard that you are?" Jon: "Be troubled, and keep my vows." Nihlus
The greatest swordsman that ever lived didn't have a sword? I loved that whole exchange. Definitely my second favorite scene from the show. Highlights: S: "The greatest swordsman who ever lived, killed by Meryn fucking Trant!?" S: "I bet his hair was greasier than Joffrey's cunt" A: "It was not!" A: "He was outnumbered!" S: "Any boy whore with a sword could beat three Meryn Trants." S: "Go on, do it for your Bravvosi friend. Dead like all the rest of your friends".

Daemon The Black Dragon
“So many vows … they make you swear and swear. Defend the king. Obey the king. Keep his secrets. Do his bidding. Your life for his. But obey your father. Love your sister. Protect the innocent. Defend the weak. Respect the gods. Obey the laws. It’s too much. No matter what you do, you’re forsaking one vow or another.” One of my favorite lines from Jaime Lannister.
