Malik Ambar
We are supposed to find out more about them in the next books. Will this be where Bran comes in ?

DireGhost
The Others need women! Maybe that's why they are so mad.....
Dolorous22
I bloody well hope so! I don't want to know too much but I would like to know about their origin and intent. It's bound to come as a riddle though leaving us all to argue well after the books are finished.
Lady Blizzardborn
I'm thinking yes. Bran, Bloodraven, and Sam are pretty much the only options we have unless Dany manages to accidentally stumble upon something buried in Essos about them. Queen Alysanne™
Most likely, and through a weirwood vision. "The trees remember" I'd argue his last vision is one step to the truth.
Ser Cold Fingers
If we don't find out either Jon's parents, nature of the Others or if Daenerys doesn't at least START towards Westeros...I'm going to write my own ending to the book. Everyone Dies. The End.
Fire Eater
Most likely, and through a weirwood vision. "The trees remember" I'd argue his last vision is one step to the truth. Yes, GRRM said we would learn more about the Others and their interactions with the CotF. Given the latter, I think we will learn more about the Others through Bran's POV. We may even get a few visions regarding the last hero, or learn more about the story. The CotF and trees have more to offer than any literature. Lady Blizzardborn
Those would be Othresses! Why? If we don't find out either Jon's parents, nature of the Others or if Daenerys doesn't at least START towards Westeros...I'm going to write my own ending to the book. Everyone Dies. The End. Haven't you heard? Dany and Tyrion will both at least start home. I think she lands in the last chapter, either in the Vale (like Visenya did) or Dorne, after Tyrion and company have infiltrated Casterly Rock for her to fund their campaign.
