PlainJeyne
Has anyone else slipped a quote from the books into casual conversation without thinking about it?I asked my husband to turn off the light, because it was bothering my headache. He said no, he needed the light. I told him "but... I am of the night!" He did not get it.
Thanos Targaryen
"Some men just want to watch the world burn" is getting pretty popular thanks to the HBO version of Littlefinger.

PlainJeyne
You had to use the lamest quote off the whole saga. I'm glad your husband didn't get it.Yeah it is very lame. But he still should have gotten it. It's so lame that it's very memorable!
Civility Reigns
I knew a girl who would always find some way to fit "You know nothing, Jon Snow" into a conversation. It didn't have to be relevant, or insightful, or even all that amusing, but she would do it and then she'd giggle like she made a good joke. I think, in time, we all grew to hate her. Pod The Impaler
I've use "it is known" a bunch of times. Even managed to use "a rotting sea cow" once.

Julia Martell
"It is known" is an extremely useful phrase. I once said that I would rather be in bed with a hundred scorpions than do something or other. I got a look.
