zorost
My pick for final winner will be one of the Manderly's. The reason isn't obvious, but that lack of obviousness is why it is the most obvious choice for a sneaky author like GRRM. I've tried to search these forums to see if anyone else has posted this prophecy, but I couldn't find any.
Armstark
Wouldn't Hodor be even less obvious?

Without evidence or logic it's more of a guess than a theory, though I'll grant you it's original :D Wouldn't Hodor be even less obvious? :agree: If we're going by least obvious my money is on Hodor too! Divvy-d
I think this is a good thought but really?! I have never read a book that went that far afield
Hos the Hostage
If we are looking for wild cards, my bet is gonna be Harrion Karstark. (I just like including him in all sort of speculations)

Amoracchius
Nah, the Manderlys are responsible for Frey pies. The Rat Cook was not rewarded for his treachery, the Manderlys won't be either.
Cryler
Nah, the Manderlys are responsible for Frey pies. The Rat Cook was not rewarded for his treachery, the Manderlys won't be either. The Manderlys were very clear about the parting gifts they gave. No treachery there. zorost
It isn't a guess. There are a couple of clues, but one clue is so obvious it's discounted and one that is hidden several layers deep. Which is why I think there is a good chance they are the intended winners. "Narrative causality", or whatever the GRRM version of that would be. You definitely shouldn't say what they are, so well played so far.
The Dragon has three heads
If anything, the manderlys might get back some of their lands in the reach. Lord manderly is also a guardian(or knight? Can't recall) of the green hand-aka the Gardner kings. So there's that. But iron throne? No.
Rusty Winchester
Seems like a long shot, but maybe Manderly is GRRM's Gary Stu. I'd be in favour of it. All hail King not too fat to sit the iron throne. Long may he reign.
Balerion the kitten
Don't you know?Manderly is going to become a giant rat who won't be able to eat anything other than his family.
Nucky Thompson
There's merit in the suggestion, simply because GRRM may feel generous and reward the fat guys in the end, you know... Who's to say he hasn't written himself in Lord Gourmet with his endless feasts?
