ARYa_Nym Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 A relationship is canon to me if either GRRM confirms it or it's not debatable. So San/San is canon because GRRM said that he played with it. I don't remember if he included Jamie/Brienne in that but I do remember his bringing up Beauty and the Beast. Arya/Gendry is not canon because there is no such confirmation and it has to be debated. I mean you even had people who still thought she was a lesbian and would be perfect with Elia Sand as an example. Or others who just thought it was platonic. GRRM left it vague.
