Stonehearted Snake
What's also interesting is that the Martells are the only house to have 2 members make it this far. That could just be a result of who they were matched with but regardless it is interesting considering how many people complain about their storyline. Cashless Society
^ Most complaints are directed at their children though.
Annara Snow
Interesting that Stannis also could lose to Gendry. So, the two most popular non POV characters - going by every fan poll ever - Sandor and Stannis - may not even be in the semis. That may be because the nature of the game, unlike a favorite character poll, favors the least polarising characters rather than those with most fans. Which is why Maester Ammon may be the favorite to win.

Maybe if we were more people Sandor would be in the finals. It's also refreshing that we still have characters like Aemon in Quarter finals. If you're voting for a favorite character poll, you are picking the characters you love the most. Stannis is, for instance, always ranked much better than Gendry, and he's going to be on more people's lists than Gendry. But when you're choosing between two candidates, you aren't always voting for your favorite, you're voting for the one you prefer between two given candidates. So, Stannis may lose to Gendry, because there are lots of people who dislike Stannis but are OK with Gendry, even though neither is their favorite character.
