Chris Mormont Posted May 18, 2016 Author Share Posted May 18, 2016 My point of asking this question was the fact that if Jon is resurrected by Mel, like we all assume he will, would anyone in the Night's Watch call him a deserter and treat him as such if he were to leave Castle Black and the Watch. I wasn't really concerned of the long term consequences, although, he doesn't only have to worry about the NW with regards to being branded a deserter.
