True but I don't think the people really realized how mad Cersei could potentially turn out to be. They found that out much later. I think that cersei would never have been able to hold the throne. She destroyed the sept and took out the tyrells but she had no support from anyone right after that happened. The king killed himself and EVERYBODY hates cersei. She has jaime,qyburn,and the mountain. The people of KL would have ripped her apart. And the gold cloaks would have let them.
