The "Game of Thrones" videogame

Advertisements for the "Game of Thrones" videogame https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_Thrones:_Winter_Is_Coming persistently intrude into Youtube videos :: one of them seems to show something which is definitely against canon and in the timeline of the story would cause a major upset if it happened :: someone making a ship-canal across the Neck.

Ah, I thought this was going to be about the 2012 videogame first (which has a decent storyline, and has respect for canon even if it does not adhere to it in the closest way possible).

I wouldn't worry too much about the game. It is clearly not based on the novels, but that thing with moving pictures instead of the books, where people can just go "around the Neck."

Plus, it primarily seems to be a strategy game set in the "present-day" or "near future" of Westeros. As a gameplay mechanic, well, maybe a canal could make sense as some project in the long run.

It's a shovelware mobile game, best safely ignored.
