Chalais
I like the idea of the Frey words being 'Perhaps You May Pass'For the Boltons, it HAS to be flaying related.
Chise
Bolton words "Our <s>Swords</s> Blades are Sharp" I swear totally saw that somewhere! (HBO, we're looking at you...).. and Stark motto should still be "our honor is our bane" dammit!just like Frey's might as well put up "Its a good day for a ____wedding" above their castle, OR the motto is "Marry ours - pass thru"
Ser-Arthur-Dayne
The Stark motto should be:"When winter hits, the lone wolf dies, and the pack cannot seem to survive either"

assjfjgjsgjljljglgjfjsduar
I'm a fan of House Mormont's."Here We Stand."Simple, to the point, badass. Also Royce ("We Remember"), Plumm ("Come Try Me") and Tollett ("When All is Darkest"). As cool as "You Shall Not Pass" would be for the Freys, House Allyrion more or less already has it. I'd love to learn the Frey, Bolton, Umber and Glover words. The Bloody Boar
"None shall pass!" (Black Knight from Quest for the Holy Grail)And remember: all the Great Houses' words would be improved by the addition of the word 'bitches' on the end. RevengeOfTheStarks
What's with all the Stark motto bashing?Yes, on first glimpse, "winter is coming" sounds stupid. But don't think of it as a commentary on the weather, but rather as a threat! The Starks were the Kings of Winter after all. Winter is their time to shine, when their power waxes, and when they're going to make a comeback to really mess some people up. It's like their battle cry, or pregame pep cheer (Brrr, it's cold in here, there must be some Starks in the atmosphere). You best be scared.YOU SHALL NOT PASS! sounds better :PYES.
