Ravenhair
@Ser-Arthur-DayneHouse Dayne definitely needs a motto. I Googled it and found that on agot.pbworks.com someone wrote that the words of House Dayne are "Fallen and reborn." I don't think this is correct, but damn I want them to have a House Dayne motto.,
Dragons Daughter
@Ser-Arthur-DayneHouse Dayne definitely needs a motto. I Googled it and found that on agot.pbworks.com someone wrote that the words of House Dayne are "Fallen and reborn." I don't think this is correct, but damn I want them to have a House Dayne motto.,I agree. Of all the houses, I really want to know theirs the most.I always figured it would be something to do with a star and dawn, since it's what their house is pretty much universally known for, and they're the two symbols on their house banner. My guess it's something like "We shall Rise" or "Rise and Rise Again", aka, dawn/falling star/going back to the heavens etc.
Gurkhal
The words of House Connington are 'We Are The Storm'.Are you sure? Because I've got the impression that the words are "A Faithful Friend Or A Fierce Foe".
Prince of Dragonstone
"Ours is the Fury" and "Winter is Coming" always had the best ring, IMO.The absolutely cheesiest one has to be a tie between "Here Us Roar!" and "Growing Strong!" Not very intimidating, there, Tyrells. "We Do Not Sow" is a complete WTF for me lol
Queen Cersei I
@Ser-Arthur-DayneHouse Dayne definitely needs a motto. So long as it's not "we are of the night," I'm sure it'll be classy.
Ravenhair
@Queen CerseiLet's leave the horrendously cheesy "We are of the night" to the Daynes of High Hermitage. What would be a good motto for the Daynes of Starfall?

Lady Lilac
I always liked house Martell's words. "Unbowed.Unbent.Unbroken" sounds badass, a little smug, but still pretty awesome. Also, "Ours is the fury".I never really understood house Geryjoy's "We do not sow", though. I understand where it comes from, but it just sounds weird. red fork
Tollett ("When All is Darkest").On a slight tangent, a quick question - is Dolourous Edd a Tollett of the Vale Tolletts?
