Quoting non-posters

I just noticed I can no longer quote someone just by typing in

; you have to specify a name and post, presumably by replying to another post. This actually makes it a little unclear if you're trying to, say, quote a book or an article or something other than a specific post, while still specifying the source. Quoting without an author works though. I know this feature was available on the old board software; is this anything that can be easily fixed? If not that's ok; I just miss the old quoting stuff.

You have to put the name like 'name' just figured that out by trying.
