Donnycarko
Likely to be cast, in your view? Also, do you think any giants themselves will be featured?

Tormund Giant*****
Brian Blessed is all my mind will allow me to see when I think of Tormundhttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000306/He has the big booming laugh and larger than life personality that Tormund has, and I reckon he can swing a sword or axe mighty good.... or blow a horn. The only problam can be that he's more than 75 years old.
Tormund Giant*****
Quoted from a new article which was actually about him having to pull out of a play in 2010 because of a build up of fluid in the lung:"Blessed, who is a friend of the Prince of Wales, boasted last year that doctors had found him in rude health: "They said I had twice the normal size lungs, and perfect blood pressure. I have the physique of a guy of 30."He added: "I'm almost as sexually active now as in my twenties. I will never need Viagra. I am a rampant fellow.""At least he sounds like a Tormund, these could even be a modern day Tormunds words....

Geert
I always pictured Hamish from Braveheart, played by Brendan Gleeson, when I read about Tormund, my favourite wildling. He might be a bit too old for the part now, unfortunately.
strifed169
Brian Blessed would be the #1 best casting in the series if it happens, thats really Tormund come to life, lol
NewJeffCT
I had heard that Ron Perlman of Beauty & The Beast fame wanted in and heard speculation somewhere about him as Tormund. He's certainly done enough medieval era stuff in recent years and has the connection to GRRM. Don't remember the site that had that speculation - could even have been here. Carne
I e-mailed a casting suggestion to an agent a couple of days ago, and today she replied and said this guy is up for an audition. Role not mentioned. Looks like Tormund to me: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1970465/
